“Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” – Steve Jobs
Sometimes life can seem like a struggle with the left and right sides of your brain. A battle of logic and reason against the artist and creativity within you.
I’m a photographer from London, who originally grew into a mathematician and then worked as a business analyst in the city. My heart however, has never left the creative arts and photography has allowed me to express myself and share my experiences from around the world.
Passionate about people, spirituality, visual arts and design, such interests have formed much of the perspective in my work.
Be it events, architecture or street photography I aim to add a unique artistic edge to the pictures I take. Whether I’m exploring the intricate calligraphic beauty of the Alhambra walls in Andalucia or capturing the vibrant street art of Shoreditch in the east end of London, I aim to capture a complete image that projects character, ambience and feeling.
Visual arts are powerful and can play a major role in developing understanding and appreciation in a world where communities remain divided or misunderstood. Art has the power to communicate and transcend beyond cultural and religious divides; something I hope my work can be a part of.
When I’m not out taking photos, I enjoy the outdoors, travelling and in particular mountain climbing. For fun, I delve into the world of film making and acting too. I am always up for trying new things and meeting new people, after all, life is as colourful as you make it.
